For a successful company video production for your website
just follow our hints and tips below
Remember - there will be a maximum number of your own images you can add. Check the price guide for the set you have chosen and try to work within those numbers
Jpegs
When you are preparing your images (jpegs) for inclusion in your video presentation remember - there’s no substitute for quality.
If possible please save your jpegs from the original high resolution files. Remember too that we are dealing with wide screen (16:9) format, so if
your images are portrait and won’t crop so well you’ll need to fashion some kind of background so that they fill the shape. We could of course help you with this, but would need to quote separately.
The size of your finished cropped images needs to be: 1920pxls x 1080pxls or 68cmW x 38.25cmH at 72dpi and saved as an RGB jpeg at the highest quality your software will allow, this will give us a better chance when converting the material to the format and colour space we need.
Videos / Movies
If you already have high definition footage - then great! If you have standard definition - we can use it, but remember we may have to enlarge it etc. High definition files are approximately 4 times larger than standard definition.
PowerPoint Presentations
If you are to use some jpegs saved from your key PowerPoint slides again high quality please. Also it may be an idea to include some of the images from your PowerPoint presentation on their own - we may be able to incorporate them into the virtual set and provide a level of continuity you just couldn’t have before!
And Finally
When you come to the shoot - don't wear anything green or made of silk ... but - do bring a smile!
